seems to have more of a metal twist, "Dark and Cold" has that blues twist and the Box which is my fav offers up a more industrial metal sound. They just released their latest CD Thread which has a
polished sound. Check out Mindset X and Grab their latest CD Thread! A Little Bit About Mindset X The musical journey began in the fall of 2004. Steven Scott and Adam Cote were looking for a new
bassist due to the breakup of their last musical engagement. Jerry Houle, a drummer by trade, contacted Steven in hopes for a tryout on bass guitar. They met at a local watering hole with Steven not
knowing what Jerry looked liked…but Steven knew instinctively by the loud voice coming from the other end of the bar. Mindset X was now complete. During the first few sessions together the
band agreed on one thing – strive to create something unique and create the music that THEY loved with hopes that others would feel the same. The wide ranging influences of each member, from
progressive metal to punk, set the course for the music. Months after forming, Mindset X released their first self produced CD titled “Statecraft”. No longer in print, Statecraft was a
conceptual piece and a bold move for a young band to make. But they made it anyway. In the winter of 2006, after touring New England to create a name for them selves, Mindset X released their next
CD, “Physics”. Physics was a more matured compilation of music and contained, to this day, one of the bands most requested live songs, “Atmosphere”. It was during the touring
for Physics that Joe O’Brien, owner of Rat Pak Records, started to take notice of the band. Mindset X was signed to Rat Pak a short time later. Mindset X continued to write in 2006 while
playing weekly around New England. They soon gained a reputation as one of the premier live bands to see, combining a highly energetic stage show with a noticeable passion for what they loved to do.
A short year later, Mindset X self produced and released “Generation Rx”. GRX was an ambitious album, heavier than their previous, and showcased the playing abilities of the band.
“Suicide Girl” and more notably, “Ghosts in Boston” became live anthems. GRX received rave reviews from their fans and was a top seller for Rat Pak Records in 2007. The music
just kept on flowing. In the fall of the same year, the band decided to try a different avenue and entered Drumlin Downe studios to record a single for the label. In true Mindset X fashion, they
ended up recording 5 new songs, and released “Bipolar” in the fall of 2007. Bipolar showcased the growth of the band and songs such as “Day after Day” and “Shore”
were added to their live show. In order to spread the word about MSX, Bipolar was given away for free. But they weren’t done. They wanted to finish the album. Scheduled for release on April
1st, 2008, “Thread” will be the bands 4th full length release since its conception in late 2004. Thread contains 4 re-recorded songs from Bipolar and 7 new songs. “This album is
something we are going to be very proud of. It wasn’t rushed and having no set time table gave us the ability to create with no pressure involved.” Steven Scott explains. “I truly
believe this is our best work to date.”

industry, when I first heard their sounds I couldn't get enough of their song tracks "New Monday and Hollow Earth" each of their song tracks offer a tasteful ear of different sounds from alternative
to metal. Their 12 Skies Fire video you will dig some of the freaky effects tune in and listen to the hot burning highlights of Skies Fire and The Black! A Little Bit About Twisted Roots In 1991
Twisted Roots released their fourth independent release titled "Room to Breathe". In support of the new release, Twisted Roots circumvented the "Cover Band Only" club scene by creating their own
venues. Most notable were the "Outlaw Ridge" shows that took place in the backwoods of Gray, Maine. Fans of the new, heavier style of music arrived by the hundreds for these out of the way
gatherings. After a series of performances at the "Boston Rock Off" Twisted Roots landed an independent label deal with "Cherrydisc Records" out of Boston ( Tree Letters To cleo. Later, the song
Tracks (Turn to Stone) had hit Maine radio by storm, taking Twisted Roots out of the unknown to the mainstream. While showcasing various distribution companies and record labels, the band used their
notoriety to raise money for such events as The Ronald McDonald House Amnesty International and The Grief Relief Center to name a few. Twisted Roots nest release was a live performance at their sold
out State Theater show called "Bad Blood/ Blown Motor" the name was inspired by the bands previous tour experience. The live release recorded by Lance Vardis (Engineer : Turn to Stone, Virus,
Communication,Red, The Seed and 12 SFATB) was created as a way to generate money to support the band as they went out on tour again. Cherrydisc released Twisted Roots "Communication. Communication
was a sharp contrast to their previous releases as Twisted Roots sought to re-create their signature sound and delve into more creative instrumentation and structure, introducing Hammond Keyboards
and Clavinova played by Frank Martin and background vocals from local area music veteran Darien Brahms (Knots & Crosses, Darien Brahms. In 1997 Twisted Roots released "Red". Upon its release the
band gained spins on Maine Radio and joined forces with local management company Ripchord (Rustic Overtones). In 2000 Twisted Roots released "Body In The Trunk, Brick On The Gas" and yet again began
to solicit strong indie and major record labels. In 2003, Twisted Roots came together for a benefit concert to raise money for the 9-11 Childrens Fund. The reponse from the concert was over-whelming
as Roots fans asked for more than just the one-time appearance. In 2004, the band released "The Seed" all the while writing material for the next release to be announced. In 2007, Twisted Roots
joined forces with "Rat Pak Records", releasing "12 Kies Fire and The Black". The single "New Monday entered rotation as the band went out in support of the album, playing regionally, eventually
procuring the opening spot for Ozzy Osbourn in 2008 at the Cumberland Civic Center.

About Pulse 8 Since its birth in June of 2000, Pulse8 has been equipped to put Cincinnati music on the map. The Cincinnati five piece concentrates on heart pounding rhythms and choruses that stick
with you. The band’s frontman Bob Johnson, is the essence of insanity. With Screams that chill you to the bone and verses that make you move to the beat. Doug is the perfect blend for the
future of vocals as they are known. Doug is backed by the dynamic duo of brothers Damon and Scott Mocahbee, who lay down the thickest and heaviest guitar tones needed to put the pulse in to Pulse8,
and last but not least by any means is Eddie Black, with his heart pounding drum beats that raise your feet off of the floor. Pulse8, if given the chance, will definitely be a heavyweight contender
in the NEW music era!!

listen! ;) A Little Bit About Of The I Born out of sound experiments in an improvised studio of a small London flat, Of The I’s huge sound belies its modest beginnings. Coming together from
diverse origins, as students of philosophy and psychology, the band’s five members worked to find a way of expressing their ideas in calculated pressure waves. These were released freely, as
ones and zeros, to a hungry hoard of Demonoiders, who promptly consumed 12,000 copies. The band, inspired, locked themselves away and plotted their first album while cutting their teeth on the London
live scene. With every song carefully crafted and rehearsed, Of The I gathered their savings and entered a North-London studio, where the entire album was recorded in 10 days and nights. Cramped in a
tiny room, huge guitar and bass amps in separate closets, the band played their songs live to capture the full dynamic Of The I, giving the album a real sense of warmth. The concept of self-awareness
appears in various guises throughout the hour-long journey that is ‘Balance Instars’. The sound of the record is progressive, driven, and intense, yet finds release in organic, visceral
passages. The band’s endeavour to envelop listeners in their distinctive atmosphere is not only the beating heart of the album, it is characteristic of their intoxicating live performances.
"Balance Instars" is now complete and shipping worldwide.
